A cold front moved through Sunday evening, bringing a noticeable drop in temperatures for the start of the work week, according to Chief Meteorologist Emily Roehler.
Along with the cool down, a shift in the winds and a gusty N wind picks back up in the Metro around 8PM behind the front, gradually lightening up through the day Monday.
Rain is likely to be most widespread and persistent during the first half of the day Tuesday, with Monday and Tuesday being much cooler, with many 60s and even a few 50s possible Tuesday.
Winds pick back up Wednesday and Thursday, warming up to the 70s to near 80s for a few days before cooler air moves back in around the weekend and next week.
