UK Pledges £20M for Gaza Aid
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced a £20 million humanitarian aid package for Gaza, to be used for restoring essential water, sanitation, and hygiene infrastructure.
“Today is the first, crucial phase of ending this war, and now we must deliver the second phase, in full,”
Starmer is expected to say at a peace summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The summit, chaired by US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, aims to push for long-term peace, recovery, and reform in the region.
