China Criticizes US Over Tariff Move
China accused the US of "double standards" after President Donald Trump announced a new 100% tariff on Chinese goods.
"The relevant US statement is a typical example of 'double standards',"
a Chinese Ministry of Commerce spokesperson said. The tariff is set to begin on November 1, in response to China's new export restrictions on rare-earth minerals, which Trump described as "extraordinarily aggressive".
