Pump manufacturer Grundfos increases efficiency with programmable press.
Grundfos, founded in 1945, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pumps, producing over 16 million pumps annually.
The company operates in more than 60 countries, employing around 20,000 people, and its pumps are used in various applications, including:
- Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems in homes, office buildings, and hotels
- Factories producing food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors
- Irrigation, greenhouses, municipal water systems, and sewage treatment plants
- Fire sprinkler systems in buildings
When modernizing its production of metal parts, Grundfos required energy efficiency, high repeatability, and programmability.
