LR Public Radio Establishes $500,000 Journalism Endowment
Little Rock Public Radio has created the Judith K. Faust Endowment for Journalism, a $500,000 fund honoring the legacy of Judith K. Faust, an Arkansan devoted to learning, justice, and community.
Faust, an instructor emerita at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Social Work, held degrees in journalism, philosophy, and social work. She was a longtime supporter of KUAR and advocated for civil rights.
The endowment reflects her multidisciplinary approach to improving lives and her belief in the power of truth-seeking and civic engagement.
The endowment was funded by a gift from Faust’s estate.
