A cancelled Shonen Jump series has confirmed an anime and the mangaka shared a heartfelt message to fans after the visual reveal.
Weekly Shonen Jump‘s Super Psychic Policeman Chojo by Shun Numa stopped serializing in June 2025, after releasing 69 chapters.
The manga ended due to being axed by the publisher, a common fate for many series that don’t perform well, with Shonen Jump debuting dozens of new series each year.
As a gag comedy manga, Super Psychic Policeman Chojo received mixed reviews, but many agreed it had potential, even ranking third in the Next Manga Awards in September.
