Diego Leon Makes Senior Paraguay Debut

Diego Leon has made his senior international debut for Paraguay in a 2-0 defeat to South Korea in Seoul.

Leon, 18, came off the bench for the final nine minutes, replacing Sunderland's Omar Alderete. The Reds youngster joined the club from Cerro Porteno earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Brazil surrendered a two-goal lead to lose to Japan in a friendly at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, marking Japan's first-ever victory over Brazil.

Diego is still to make his maiden senior appearance for United.

It is a phenomenal achievement for the Reds youngster.
