Milwaukee's Cruise Season to Triple in 2026
Visits to Milwaukee are expected to nearly triple in 2026, with the number of vessel calls growing from 22 to 60.
This growth will be aided by the introduction of a new, all-American cruise ship, the American Patriot, which will call on Milwaukee six times.
"They're all going to be turnaround visits,"
said Korey Garceau, port trade representative, noting that turnarounds are highly desirable for ports as they involve hotel stays, air travel, and increased passenger spending.
- The American Patriot is a 243-foot, 130-passenger vessel with an all-American crew.
- The ship will offer two all-U.S. cruises.
- A new $17 million South Shore Cruise Dock is also set to open mid-season.
