UNT Launches LEEF, an Innovative Learning and Curriculum Initiative
Today, the University of North Texas (UNT) proudly announces the launch of the Learning Ecosystem for Empowering Futures (LEEF), a new model in higher education that prioritizes learning and innovation.
LEEF aims to empower UNT innovators and support projects that can transform the understanding of learning and teaching, and the purpose of higher education. This initiative will utilize the knowledge gained to reshape curricula and pedagogies, ultimately advancing student success, research excellence, and societal impact.
LEEF was designed by a team of nearly 50 educators, emerging from hundreds of conversations with UNT community members over several months.
Our goal for LEEF is to empower our UNT innovators and support projects that have potential to change how we understand learning and teaching and the purpose of higher education.
