Dragon Ball FighterZ Brings Back the Hype with New Goku
Bandai Namco releases Dragon Ball FighterZ’s October 12, 2025, balance update and confirms new DLC fighter Goku (Super Saiyan 4, Daima) for Spring 2026.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is back in the spotlight again after Arc System Works announced at EVO France 2025 that Super Saiyan 4 Goku from Dragon Ball Daima is coming to the game in spring 2026.
A major balance update is set for October 12, adjusting every fighter in the roster, including a rework of the Z-Reflect move for more strategy.
ArcSys hasn’t shared the patch notes yet.
Last year’s release for PS5 and Series X/S already gave the game a second wind with rollback netcode, so hearing that more improvements are coming makes me believe the developers still care deeply about this project.
