Revising NASCAR's Record Book
NASCAR's record keeping has been a topic of discussion, particularly with regards to wins, top fives, and DNFs.
The current record books do not accurately reflect the different eras of NASCAR, with the last revision being 22 years ago, at the end of the Winston Cup Series era in 2003.
A tweet from NASCAR's Racing Insights X account on Oct. 15 brought attention to this issue, highlighting the need for a reboot of the record books for a new era.
