Unbeaten Nepal Clinch ICC T20 World Cup Asia & EAP Qualifier Title
Nepal secured their biggest ICC tournament triumph with a 124-run victory against Samoa.
The team remained unbeaten, winning all matches from the group stage through the Super Six round, and have already secured their berth at the 2026 T20 World Cup.
Put to bat first, Nepal posted 211 for four in their 20 overs, with Kushal Bhurtel scoring 17 off 15 balls before losing the first wicket at 63 runs in the seventh over.
This is the biggest tournament Nepal has won in competitions organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Nepal won the Eastern regional tournament held in Malaysia for the T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier in October 2018.
