Abnormal Load Update on A34 in North Staffordshire
Police have been involved in escorting a 98-metre-long wide load through North Staffordshire.
The load has temporarily stopped at The Harvester near Trentham to allow traffic to clear and will resume its journey towards Newcastle at 12:25hrs on the A34.
- It will pass through Sainsbury's on the A34.
- After Walton island, it will proceed in a contraflow manner.
- The load will then rejoin the correct side of the road at Darlaston as it heads towards Newcastle.
Please adjust your route if travelling through Stone, Newcastle, or Butt Lane, and be courteous and understanding as the load makes its way to Cheshire.
