Silvercrest Advertising CEO William Rodriguez has been released from jail after posting bond, following his arrest on homicide charges related to a 2024 hit-and-run crash that killed 60-year-old Christina Barrington in Cathedral City.
Rodriguez was arrested in Palm Springs and booked into the John Benoit Detention Center in Indio. The Riverside DA's office had requested that he be held without bail, citing flight risk and public-safety concerns.
However, his attorney, David Greenberg, confirmed that Rodriguez has posted bond and been released. Greenberg also disputed a claim from the DA's office that Rodriguez attempted to flee from authorities at Acrisure Arena.
Rodriguez's attorney says they are disputing the claim that he attempted to flee from authorities.
