NYC Marathon Course to Ban Unsanctioned Cyclists
City transportation officials have announced a ban on unsanctioned cyclists during the NYC Marathon to ensure safety and accessibility.
The New York City Department of Transportation announced the prohibition on Thursday, stating that unsanctioned cyclists will not be allowed to enter the course on November 2.
According to the notice, street closures before the race are reserved for emergency vehicles, event setup crews, and medical tents.
