Manteca Quells Lancers' Upset Bid
Manteca figured out East Union's new-look offense and scored 35 unanswered points to win 56-20.
East Union's Jackson Fay, who has committed to UC Davis, played behind center and scored the final points for the Lancers in the second quarter.
- Fay had 171 yards and three touchdowns on 11 rushes at that point.
- He was held to just 5 yards on his next 11 carries for the rest of the game.
The Buffaloes clamped down on Jackson Fay and the rest of the Lancers for a second-half shutout.
Manteca improved to 4-0 in the Valley Oak League and 8-0 overall, while East Union fell to 2-3 in the league and 6-3 overall.
