Services including Amazon Prime Video, Canva, and Perplexity AI faced downtime, frustrating millions of users worldwide.
Musk posted a sarcastic “You don’t say” on X in response to a statement from the AWS CEO, claiming 75% of Amazon’s production code is now AI-generated.
Musk had earlier expressed distrust in Signal, which depends on AWS servers, and its President Meredith Whittaker confirmed the platform was impacted by the outage.
