Investigations into Castlebar Firework Incident
A firework was thrown at a six-month-old dog on Linenhall Street in Castlebar town centre.
A Garda investigation is underway following the incident, which occurred recently. The dog escaped injury thanks to a sharp intervention from its owner.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, Gardaí arrested two teenagers last Thursday following investigations in the North West.
In other news, a new leaflet titled ‘Eating for a Healthy Heart’ was developed in St Anne’s Unit.
