Greens Oppose Harmful Changes to Anti-Discrimination Act
The Australian Greens oppose the harmful changes to the Anti-Discrimination Act passed by the Finocchiaro CLP government.
Background
The NT Greens oppose these changes, which make three key amendments that:
- go against the recommendations of the NT Anti-Discrimination Commissioner
- fail to implement the recommendations of the Australian Law Reform Commission
The Greens, alongside the Labor Party and the crossbench, opposed these amendments.
