The Deputy Director of Elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Rashid Tanko-Computer, has described the death of former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings as "terrible news" for the party.
According to Tanko-Computer, the NDC had recently begun efforts to reconcile with her and bring her closer to the fold. This decision was made after an appeal by her daughter, Dr. Zanetor.
Zanetor raised the issue that we should think of bringing her mother back to the party, and leadership started looking into it.
Tanko-Computer noted that nobody in the party disliked Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, and she was considered a mother of the NDC due to her instrumental role in the party's formation.
