A car crash on Saturday morning led to thousands of residents in Burlington and Sedro-Woolley losing power.
According to Puget Sound Energy, more than 5,400 customers were initially affected, with over 1,000 still without power as of 1 p.m.
The Sedro-Woolley police reported that the crash likely led to the large power outage.
Power was mostly restored by Saturday afternoon, with an estimated full restoration time of 2:30 p.m.
Traffic lights were also affected by the outage, with some intersections having battery-powered lights and others not.
