Police Attend A57 After Reports of 'Street Racing'
On Saturday, 25 October 2025, officers from the Worksop North Neighbourhood Team and Worksop Response attended the A57 following reports of street racers using the road as a race track.
Thanks to community intelligence, police logged vehicle details and will review dashcam footage and static CCTV to identify offences.
Let’s be clear: road racing, speeding, and dangerous driving will not be tolerated in Nottinghamshire. These reckless behaviours endanger lives — not just those of the drivers, but innocent road users too.
