Elon Musk's Grokipedia, a rival to Wikipedia, has launched after a brief crash. The website, which contains over 885,000 articles, aims to be "a massive improvement over Wikipedia" and a "necessary step towards the xAI goal of understanding the Universe," according to Musk.
However, the launch has been marred by controversy over the provenance of its content, with some entries being nearly identical to their counterparts on Wikipedia. Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales has called Musk's claims "factually incorrect."
