High temperatures are expected to reach near record levels across the area today, with most locations experiencing temperatures in the 90s.
A cold front will move through the area this evening, bringing a significant change to South Texas, with much cooler temperatures and windy conditions expected.
The front will also increase fire weather concerns due to dry air and breezy conditions, with a Fire weather watch in effect from 10am to 7pm on Wednesday, which may be upgraded to a Red Flag warning.
