Ian Watkins, the former lead singer of the Welsh rock band Lostprophets, was killed in a prison attack in northern England.
Watkins was serving a prison sentence for child sex offenses. He was the lead singer for Lostprophets, which formed in 1997 and topped the U.K. charts in 2006 with its third album, "Liberation Transmission."
Watkins was arrested for drug offenses in 2012, and police found evidence of abuse on his computers.
