Meridian Field Hockey Beats Kettle Run In Overtime
Meridian High School's field hockey team won 2-1 in overtime against Kettle Run Cougars for the second time in 12 days.
The game was intense, with a scoreless first half for both teams, until Zorah Randhawa scored late in the third period.
Emma Flanagan, who scored the only goal against the Cougars two weeks ago, scored 90 seconds into overtime, securing the win for Meridian.
Meridian required extra minutes for the second consecutive game.
