Meridian High School Sports Update
The regular season for fall sports at Meridian High School is coming to a close, with all programs except football having completed their scheduled games.
Football, with two regular season games left, bounced back with a 56-14 win over Warren County on Senior Night, improving to 4-4. They will look to move above .500 at Skyline on Friday.
Field hockey earned a thrilling win over Fauquier in its regular season finale, extending its winning streak to 14-1 and entering the playoffs as the top seed in the Northwestern District.
Now Anne Steenhoek’s girls will enter the playoffs as the top seed in the Northwestern District.
