Braden Currie, a multiple IRONMAN winner, has announced his retirement from triathlon after 16 years at the top.
Currie's impressive career includes two IRONMAN New Zealand titles, three IRONMAN Cairns victories, and a podium finish at the IRONMAN World Championships in St George in 2022.
“It’s been an incredible journey – 16 years of racing the best athletes in the world on the biggest stages.
Currie amassed 51 wins and 72 podiums across 92 endurance events during his elite racing career.
