Enfinity Global to Support Sustainable Mobility with VW Kraftwerk GmbH
Enfinity Global, a leading renewable energy company, has signed an agreement with VW Kraftwerk GmbH to supply Guarantees of Origin (GOs) from its solar PV power plants in Italy.
The agreement provides for the purchase of approximately 40 GWh of GOs per year over the next ten years, totaling 400 GWh, sourced from Enfinity's renewable energy assets in Italy.
"We are honored to support the Volkswagen Group as it transitions its electric vehicle fleet to be carbon neutral and in advancing the transformation of mobility across Europe," said Carlos Domenech, CEO of Enfinity Global.
The GOs supplied by Enfinity certify that an equivalent amount of electricity has been generated from renewable sources, reducing CO₂ emissions associated with electric vehicles.
