Trevor Zegras Creating Change with the Flyers
Trevor Zegras is making a difference in Philadelphia, skating at more than a point-per-game pace for the Flyers.
There was a perception that Zegras was one-dimensional, a social media star rather than a hockey player. However, he is working to change this image.
He wants to be "known as somebody who is a hockey player,"
Head coach Rick Tocchet issued Zegras a challenge during training camp in September. The Flyers traded for the 24-year-old forward from the Ducks ahead of the NHL Draft in June, taking a risk that things would be different in Philadelphia.
