President Luong Cuong meets Busan Mayor to advance practical cooperation
President Luong Cuong met with Mayor Park Heong Joon on November 1 to discuss ways to strengthen practical cooperation between the city and Vietnamese localities during his visit to Busan as part of the APEC 2025 Economic Leaders’ Week in the Republic of Korea (RoK).
Mayor Park Heong Joon warmly welcomed President Luong Cuong and his delegation to Busan, expressing his pleasure at the strong development of RoK-Vietnam relations across multiple fields.
Mayor Park noted that the visit by Party General Secretary To Lam in August 2025 to announce the establishment of the Vietnamese Consulate General in Busan, along with President Luong Cuong’s current visit, would play an important role in promoting practical cooperation between Busan and Vietnamese localities.
