The 2025 WTA Finals have begun with significant upsets, as two of the world's top women's tennis stars struggled at the end-of-season tournament.
World No. 5 Jessica Pegula defeated reigning champion No. 2 Iga Świątek 3-6, 6-1, 6-0, while Gauff's serve struggles led to 17 double faults in her match.
