Apple Updates Apps with Liquid Glass Icons
Apple has updated three of its apps for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe, introducing new Liquid Glass-compatible icons for GarageBand, Photomator, and Pixelmator Pro.
The GarageBand app for iPhone and iPad now features a realistic-looking guitar icon, replacing the previous silhouetted neon guitar icon. However, the GarageBand for Mac app has not been updated yet, despite using the same icon.

Apple is also planning to update icons for other apps, including iMovie, the App Store, Keynote, Numbers, and Pages, but these updates have not been released yet.
Apple first introduced the new GarageBand icon on its iPhone tech spec pages after the September iPhone event.
