Roanoke Football Scores Big ODAC Win at Bridgewater 24-14
The Roanoke College football team has made its presence felt in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) with a 24-14 victory at Bridgewater College.
In their first season of varsity competition since 1942, Roanoke is 4-1 and 2-1 in the conference. The Roanoke defense stopped the Eagles on 4th and 2 from the Roanoke five-yard line on the first drive of the game.
After a scoreless first quarter, Bridgewater scored at 8:33 of the second on a four-yard touchdown run from Wyatt Jervis. The Maroons answered with a touchdown drive, with Kam Hill running the ball in from two yards out.
