Gabriel Diallo Earns First Main Draw Win at Roland Garros
Wildcat legend Gabriel Diallo has won his first match at Roland Garros, defeating [18] Francisco Cerundolo in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4.
Diallo, a Montreal native who played at Kentucky from 2020-2022, has now won his first round contest at each of the last three Grand Slams.

- Advanced to the second round at the 2025 Australian Open
This victory marked the first time in his Grand Slam career that Diallo has won a best-of-five match in straight sets.
Diallo now owns three top 20 wins in his career, including two in the 2025 season, with wins over No. 16 Grigor Dimitrov and No. 18 Francisco Cerundolo.
Monday’s victory was a significant milestone for Diallo.
