Troy volleyball remains undefeated in 2A Whitepine League
MOSCOW — The Moscow Bears defeated the Pullman Greyhounds in straight sets in a volleyball border battle at the Bear Den in Moscow on Monday. Moscow won 25-16, 25-23, 25-13.
It was senior night for the Bears (13-2) and eight seniors were honored. As a team, the Bears totaled 24 kills, 12 blocks and 12 aces against the Greyhounds (10-5).
“They all played incredibly well,” Moscow coach Kacey Halbert said. “The atmosphere that they brought to the gym was amazing. They played their hearts out and had fun doing it.”
Troy stays undefeated in 2A Whitepine TROY — The Trojans swept the Wildcats in a 2A Whitepine League match. Troy defeated Lapwai 25-12, 25-17, 25-6.
Clara Chamberlin had 18 digs to pace the Trojans (21-2, 11-0). Madison Blazzard was 24-for-24 from the service line with five aces against Lapwai (7-7, 5-7).
