Former Troy University running back Kimani Vidal was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster for the Los Angeles Chargers due to injuries. This promotion has been beneficial for both Vidal and his team. In a recent game against the Miami Dolphins, Vidal rushed for 124 yards, had three catches for 14 yards, and scored his second career touchdown.
Another notable athlete is former Abbeville player Josh Hines-Allen, who is now a linebacker for the Jacksonville Jaguars, making a positive impact in the league.
