PXI/PXIe Battery Simulators for Automated BMS Testing
Pickering Interfaces has introduced two PXI and two PXIe battery simulators to its range of PXI test modules.
The 41-754 (PXI) and 43-754 (PXIe) battery simulators are available in 2-channel or 4-channel versions, capable of supplying 1 V to 8 V, 5 A per channel. The channels are fully isolated from ground and each other, allowing series connections to simulate stacked battery architectures.
These simulators can be integrated into modular test systems using PXI or PCIe instrument buses, enabling the development of flexible, scalable, and open architectures. Multiple modules can be added to achieve higher voltages, provided the instrument chassis can supply sufficient power and cooling capacity.
