A 70-year-old man in Singapore experienced an issue with Revolut, where $1000 transferred from his DBS bank account to his e-wallet seemed to disappear.
The man had acquired the e-wallet to easily access his money while abroad, but the first transfer of $1000 did not reflect in his e-wallet despite being marked as completed on the bank's end.
The problem has thankfully been solved, with the process begun for the money to be returned to the account.
The incident was reported by Shin Min Daily News and later updated by Mothership, highlighting the importance of monitoring transactions when using e-wallets.
