Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Announces New First Presidency
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced a new First Presidency on Tuesday, with President Dallin H. Oaks as the new leader.
President Oaks, along with Todd Christofferson, were named as counselors in the First Presidency, the highest governing body in the church.
This announcement comes more than two weeks after the death of President Russell M. Nelson, who led the church since 2018.
