Murder Investigation in South London
A young man in his 20s was stabbed to death in south London, prompting a murder investigation.
Metropolitan Police officers were called to Rushey Green, Catford, just after 3am on Wednesday to reports of a stabbing.
London Ambulance Service treated the victim for stab wounds, but he sadly died in hospital.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A murder investigation is currently underway.
