Over 115 local primary school students, aged 5-11, will participate in a competition to design a label for jars of honey produced by Fort Kinnaird's resident beehives.
The competition, hosted in partnership with Niddrie Mill Primary School, tasks students with creating a label for 100 jars of honey from the beehives located in the service area.
Students are encouraged to showcase their creativity, with the winner receiving a £100 voucher to spend at Fort Kinnaird and five runners-up receiving a £20 gift card each.
The competition follows a visit by Niddrie Mill pupils to the beehives at Fort Kinnaird, where they learned about the world of bees and their importance to the local environment.
The contest aims to promote creativity and environmental awareness among local students.
