Planning Approval for Galway Social Housing
Planning approval has been granted for 219 new social and affordable apartments near Galway city centre, to be located on Dyke Road.
Construction is expected to begin in 2027, with future phases to include commercial, civic, and cultural amenities.
The Land Development Agency and Galway City Council have welcomed the approval.
The development will provide much-needed social and affordable housing in the area.
