Thunderstorms Returning Soon
A cold front is on the way to Kansas, bringing thunderstorms and a cooling trend.
On Thursday, expect warm and windy weather with highs near 80. Scattered storms will develop in western Kansas in the evening, but will dissipate overnight.
On Friday, scattered rain showers will move into central and southern Kansas, with the main storm development occurring Friday night in south central to eastern Kansas.
The storms will move out by Saturday, making way for cooler, more typical October weather.
Although it may be windy on Saturday, the weekend is expected to be decent and fall-like.
