Telangana HC Extends Stay on Group-1 Results Cancellation
The Telangana High Court has extended the interim stay on the order to cancel the Group-1 results until November 18.
A Division Bench, comprising Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice GM Mohiuddin, heard a batch of 17 writ appeals filed by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) challenging the September 9 order of Justice Namavarapu Rajeshwar Rao.
- The Single Judge had directed the Commission to re-evaluate all answer scripts of the Group-1 Main Examination using the moderation method manually.
- Fresh results were to be announced for 563 notified posts.
The court indicated that the matter would be taken up for final adjudication once the counters were filed.
The TGPSC had moved the Division Bench, which suspended the Single Judge’s directions on September 24.
