The Starting 22: Best players from Week 8 of the North Carolina high school football season
The Starting 22 features the best performances by players from each position on the football field.
For each week of the 2025 high school football season, HighSchoolOT will release the Starting 22, listing the best performances from every position across North Carolina.
Coaches should send in performance nominations to this form or to [email protected] for consideration each week.
Players cannot have a repeat selection later in the year, as the goal of this is to shine the light on as many players as possible.

- RB — Micah Olu, junior, Wake Forest
- WR — A’son Best, senior, North Rowan
- WR — Ryder McClure, junior, Bandys
- FLEX — Nick Grena, senior QB, Cary
- OL — Tanner Jones, junior, Jacksonville
