Philhellenika Festival in Fairfield
Fairfield is preparing to host its first Philhellenika Festival, celebrating Greek culture and community spirit.
The festival will bring the sights, sounds, and flavors of Greece to the suburb. Labor MP Ged Kearney expressed her excitement, stating that the event
beautifully captures the spirit of Cooper, where we take pride in supporting one another and celebrating together.
Philhellenika Festival founder John Ghionis launched the event at Nikos Fairfield, dressed in ancient Greek attire, alongside Federal MP for Cooper Ged Kearney.
The festival is set to take place next month, reflecting the character of Melbourne's north.
