New Drug Combination Slows Deadly Prostate Cancer
A new international study led by University College London (UCL) researchers found a new drug combination that can slow down a dangerous type of prostate cancer in men with certain gene mutations.
The study, published in Nature Medicine, is based on the Phase III AMPLITUDE trial, which tested the addition of niraparib to the standard treatment of abiraterone acetate and prednisone (AAP) for men with advanced prostate cancer.
