The Charlotte Hornets played the Philadelphia 76ers, but their game was marred by an injury to third-year guard Brandon Miller.
Miller injured his left arm while attempting to box out 76ers guard Quentin Grimes and was taken out of the game.
The Hornets released an official statement, saying, “Brandon Miller left the game in the first half in Philadelphia with left shoulder soreness. He will not return to tonight’s game.”
Before leaving, Miller logged 9 minutes, scoring 4 points and recording an assist.
