Yorgos Lanthimos Takes a Break from Filmmaking
After releasing another award-worthy film, Yorgos Lanthimos admits he needs "a little break" from filmmaking.
Well, I can’t keep doing that anymore. [Laughs] That’s what we’re certain of right now
Despite intending to take breaks after his previous films, Poor Things (2023) and Kinds of Kindness (2024), Lanthimos is serious about taking time off after Bugonia's release on Oct. 31.
As he told Collider, he is determined to take a break, saying "I'm going to take a little break. Hold me to it."
